The AHS School Health & Wellness Promotion team partners with internal and external stakeholders to plan effective and coordinated provincial initiatives that improve the health of Albertans aged 6 to 18 years. The team uses the Comprehensive School Health framework in creating and supporting healthy school communities, and focuses on the promotion of healthy eating, active living, and positive well-being.
