Writing is about expression and communication, of course, but what about writing as a tool for learning? Writing engages the mind and the memory, allowing students to make sense of new content while deepening their understanding of important concepts. Writing should not be contained in a box marked Language Arts.

Lois Donovan will provide an informative and inspiring session focused on creating effective writers and powerful learners in all subject areas. Practical ideas will be explored in a variety of content areas such as Math and Science.
