After returning from teaching in Australia for a year, I wanted to develop a new course based on what my students were saying they wanted to learn and what many parents were posting on Facebook as "I wish I'd have learned this in high school". What has resulted is a student run coffee shop, where students are earning a variety of different CTS courses, learning real-life skills, and are showing up at 7:10 every morning before regular classes even begin. Come listen to how this high school re-design idea began, and how it has evolved in only 3 short years.
