One of the gifts modern technology has given the reading world, is an in depth look at how the brain learns to read. Through this research, educators are reevaluating and adjusting how they teach reading in the classroom setting. Explore the Science of Reading and the strategies that research is showing us really do help children learn to read. This session provides an overview of the Big 5 of reading, a variety of strategies that can be implemented immediately and links to some of the outstanding resources available to teachers today.
