In this session, we will look at ways that we can transform our music rooms into spaces where students can actively engage with social justice issues. The focus will be on creating, responding and exploring for both online and in-person experiences. Teachers will walk away with tools to use in their classrooms as well as considerations for how we can adapt our spaces to be more open to student, school and community engagement. This session will also provide information on the Fine Arts Council, a specialist council of the ATA.
